CrushUp ("we", "our", or "us") is dedicated to protecting your privacy and ensuring user trust. This Privacy Policy details the data we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, encrypted, shared, retained, and how you can exercise full control or deletion over your personal information.

2. Adult-Only Platform (18+)

CrushUp is an adult matchmaking and dating platform strictly intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not permit or knowingly collect data from minors. Any account discovered to belong to an individual under 18 is immediately banned and purged.

3. Data We Collect (Google Play Data Safety Disclosure)

• Personal Information: Full name, verified email address, phone number (optional/for 2FA), date of birth (used strictly for age verification, never published).
• Profile Data: Profile photos, bio, gender, dating preferences, interests, hobbies, education, profession, and lifestyle tags.
• Location Information: Approximate location (city, country, and distance approximation) to enable nearby matchmaking. We never broadcast your exact GPS coordinates to other users.
• Messages & Communications: Chat messages, voice/video call session metadata (WebRTC peer connections).
• Device & Technical Diagnostics: Device type, OS version, client IP address (for security login alerts and fraud detection), crash logs.

4. How We Use and Protect Your Data

• To create and manage your dating account and facilitate mutual matchmaking.
• To enforce safety standards, automated UGC screening, and anti-spam controls.
• All data in transit is encrypted using industry-standard TLS (HTTPS/WSS).
• Sensitive credentials and passwords are encrypted at rest using salted cryptographic hashes (Bcrypt).

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell personal data to third parties. We share data only with essential infrastructure service providers:

• Cloud Storage & Media Hosting: Cloudinary (encrypted media delivery).
• Payment Processing: Razorpay / Google Play Billing (for VIP subscriptions; payment details handled securely by PCI-DSS compliant gateways).
• Authentication: Google OAuth 2.0 (for Google Sign-In).

6. Your Rights & Real Account Deletion

You have full ownership of your data. You may modify your profile at any time or request complete account and data deletion either directly within the CrushUp app (Settings → Account → Delete Account) or through our public web deletion portal at /delete-account.
